I know how difficult it is for you when you come to the USA. I went through this path when due to war in my country, I moved my family also to USA. I came along with my family of 6, Myself, wife, three children and our grandmother. We came just to the Hotel Tampa for 150 dollars. We brought one backpack with us each.
Hiring just the right housekeeper can be life-altering for the busy family. Now this may seem to be a little over-the-top, but I am serious. Think about your life—whether single, a couple, or a family—you have no time. No time to keep your home as organized or clean as you would like. No time to do the smaller tidying jobs that would make a huge difference, like Cleaning With Hydrogen Peroxide.
My name is Andrii Spivak, and my family and I arrived from Ukraine just over a year ago. You may be aware of the difficult situation in our country. While war did displace us, I want to emphasize that we chose to move to America with a focus on the opportunities and a brighter future it offered. My wife and I have a long history of focusing on achievements, and that’s the spirit we bring to High Clean.
As we entered the new year of 2022, my wife and I were setting plans and goals for the year ahead. Among them was the dream of visiting America as tourists, financial goals, purchases, business growth, owning a large home, and much more. At the time, we were living in our apartments with our family in the beautiful tourist city of Lviv. It’s one of the most famous historical cities in Europe, known for its stunning architecture and people. We were content there.
Building on our Success:
I had my own small IT company, “MIYSOFT,” where we implemented IT software solutions for businesses. My wife owned a company called “RoyalVision,” which provided high-quality photography services. We both have higher education and our own success stories. But most importantly, we met at a conscious age, and after our first meeting, there wasn’t a day without each other, so we got married. This happened in 2021.
My wife’s name is Tetiana, she already had two children, ages 8 and 10, and I had a son who was 19. We were both previously divorced, with our own stories, which we overcame on the path to creating a real family. We consider ourselves fortunate to have ended up in America, a free country steeped in the spirit of opportunity and entrepreneurship.
A New Beginning in America:
However, due to the suspension of both of our businesses, the children stopped going to school, and the university switched to remote learning, where my son was studying. We realized that we needed to make important decisions. Instead of running away somewhere, we took a breath and recalled our goals for the year, our dreams.
We had a vision board in our room with photos of New York, our large family on the ocean shore with another girl and even a dog, there were trips, a house, new cars, and a happy family. By the way, I even posted about it on Facebook and Instagram at the time. In short, my wife and I looked at each other and decided to move to the country of our dreams. We applied to Canada, France, and USA. We decided that whichever country accepted us first, that’s where we would go. As it turned out, we had a travel authorization for the USA within 2 weeks. So we found ourselves in America on September 12, 2022!
We were amazed at how friendly people are here. We are inspired by American people and want to contribute to the American economy and be useful. We also intend to take an active role, create companies, and employ people who have faced significant challenges.
We’ve lived in America for a year, it’s been different… we’re moving forward and not giving up.
So, did I manage to tell you our story in the shortest text possible? And I decided that I will continue writing to you every month, because there are still many details about the history of our relationship, our personal growth, our values, where we aspire, who we were before, what we’ve been through, what we’ve achieved in different areas of life, and what our children have already achieved. There’s a lot accumulated… I thought that we can bring a smile to your face not only with quality cleaning but also with these stories! After all, in fact, why do we live? My wife and I believe that we live to bring joy to ourselves and those around us. And the indicator that we succeeded is a smile…

“I am still learning about my home. If you can’t do it yourself, find good service people and treat them well.” — Terry (mom to our Human Resources Coordinator, Louisa)
Raise your hand if you grew up with a mom (or another parental figure) constantly reminding you to clean your room. Often, our earliest memories of figuring out how to tidy up and take care of our homes are with our moms—they taught us how to do laundry, how to do the dishes, and how to make our beds. So it should come as no surprise that when we asked our moms for their best homekeeping advice, they came back with some great tips.
Most agreed on a few major themes: it’s important to make sure everything has a home, that you put things back when you take them out, and that your home is an inviting, relaxing place to come home to—and invite others to.
Do you ever casually go about your day, popping into the kitchen for a little peanut butter toast and then the next thing you know you’re turning over the toaster oven because it’s been so long and you just can’t take the crumbs anymore?
At the risk of sounding like a cloyingly optimistic Peppy Patty (which I can assure you, I am not), I never really understood all the pervasive hate for Mondays. I get that easing yourself from the freedom of the weekend into the structure of the workweek is a bit of a shock to the system…
Our spring cleaning journey has been about turning over some lesser-cleaned leaves and refreshing your space to feel brand new for the season ahead. So in many ways, today’s assignment is symbolic of the whole shebang. We’re going to be flipping and turning, revealing a fresh new face for some of the most-used…
